KBR Research and Technology Protection Lead

KBR is in search of a dedicated and career-focused individual to take on the role of Research and Technology Protection Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and assess research initiatives and projects.
  2. Perform security evaluations.
  3. Create Risk Assessment documents that outline security, counter-intelligence, and protection needs.
  4. Conduct Performer Vulnerability Assessments, considering foreign ownership/influence, business operations, and financial implications.
  5. Generate and revise Export Control Assessments that specify actual deliverables.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
  2. Over 10 years of experience within the Intelligence Community (IC).
  3. Proven experience in developing program security guidance documentation, both original and derivative.
  4. Ability to synthesize complex concepts from diverse data sources.
  5. Experience engaging with senior leadership and R&D program managers.
  6. Familiarity with information system security standards and protocols.
  7. Doctorate degree is preferred.
  8. More than 15 years of experience within the IC.
  9. Capability to interview R&D managers to formulate program guidance.
  10. Direct experience with technology research and development, as well as emerging technology analysis.

Security Clearance Requirements: Active TS/SCI with CI Poly.
