About the OpportunityThis role offers a unique chance to shape our medical standards and protocols, ensuring the highest quality patient care. You will work closely with our talented support staff, management team, and integrative medicine resources to drive business objectives forward.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Medical Guidance: Develop and maintain consistent medical standards and protocols, promote complete and accurate patient records, and optimize patient care through regular case discussions.
  2. Patient & Client Management: Treat patients and clients with attentiveness and empathy, assist with client medical complaints, advocate for improved client experiences, and hold individuals accountable for client service and patient care.
  3. Staff Management: Foster a fun work environment, mentor associate doctors, and support technical staff development.
  4. Business Operations & Financial Success: Provide guidance on financial performance, report on KPIs, support marketing programs, review inventory requests, ensure justification, and work with the budget to assess focus areas with the Operations Team.


Requirements
  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent.
  • Active veterinarian licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Texas.
  • 5+ years of experience practicing small animal veterinary medicine.
  • Experience providing objective leadership, influencing staff, and managing competing hospital needs.
