As an Experienced Tax Compliance Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Tax Advisory Services team, engaging in various projects that contribute to the successful completion of client engagements. Your responsibilities will include the preparation and review of corporate, individual, and partnership tax returns, along with tax compliance, research, transaction analysis, and strategic planning. You will thrive in a supportive learning environment that prioritizes quality and integrity, collaborating directly with clients across diverse industries such as manufacturing, construction, logistics, automotive, nonprofit, and energy sectors.

This position offers a flexible hybrid work model, allowing for both remote work and in-office collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted member of the engagement team, delivering various tax compliance and advisory services.
  • Prepare and review tax returns for a diverse range of clients, from middle-market to multinational corporations.
  • Stay informed on evolving standards and regulations, engage in tax research on a variety of issues, and assist in drafting responses to IRS inquiries.
  • Communicate proactively with the engagement team and clients regarding complex tax matters and specialized tax practices.
  • Focus on professional growth through tailored coaching and mentoring, as well as hands-on learning experiences.
  • Leverage your entrepreneurial mindset in a firm that encourages innovation and new ideas, facilitating rapid personal and professional development.
  • Support the advancement of team members through effective coaching and mentoring.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in public accounting.
  • Eligibility for CPA licensure.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership, project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
