Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Operations Hardware Hosting Support professional to join our team at Atos. As a key member of our data center operations team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch hardware support and maintenance services to ensure the smooth operation of our data center infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and train hardware services team members on best practices and procedures.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware and services.
  • Develop and implement best practices for data center operations, including hardware installation and maintenance.
  • Provide technical assistance during internal and customer calls, resolving hardware-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop hardware installation plans and coordinate with vendors to ensure seamless execution.
  • Investigate and implement new hardware technologies to improve data center operations and efficiency.
  • Manage hardware inventory and coordinate with vendors to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Analyze trends to identify areas for continuous improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Maintain and audit the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Support hardware installation and troubleshooting, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Requirements
  • Availability to work 12-hour shifts, including days and nights.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate degree in IT and 2 years of experience preferred.
  • Desirable certifications: CCNA and/or A+.
Skills
  • Leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
