Job Overview:

Mission Essential is actively seeking skilled Maritime Imagery Analysts to contribute to a critical mission at the NMIC with ONI, focusing on the GEOINT PED Watch for various watch positions. This role will involve shift work, including rotating shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct imagery analysis and exploitation for maritime and operational matters. The Maritime Imagery Analyst will generate GEOINT-based exploitation reports in various formats, adhering to GEOINT PED watch SOP.
  • Engage in the evaluation and analysis of new algorithm outputs and capabilities, including data labeling for maritime GEOINT objects.
  • Create and sustain desktop procedures, methodologies, and techniques pertinent to ONI, Navy, and maritime operations.
  • Support the training of new or rotating personnel who may assist the overall GEOINT PED Watch, which may involve hands-on instruction and analyst-to-analyst exchanges.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in exploiting NTM and/or airborne intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance imagery, specifically Full Motion Video (FMV).
  • At least 1 year of experience in producing technical documents, reports, and briefs.
  • Formal military imagery analysis training or an equivalent civilian remote sensing certification.
  • Familiarity with NTM GEOINT tasking and collection requirements mechanisms and tools.
  • Proficiency in using three or more of the following imagery and GIS systems: Socet GXP, RemoteView Pro, iSPY, Advanced Motion Platform (AMP), Orchestration Services, National Consolidated Library (NCL), or Imagery Exploitation Capability (IEC).

Desired Qualifications:

  • NSG GPC-F certification is not mandatory upon application, but training materials and certification will be provided.
  • Knowledge in areas such as UAS, tactical GEOINT collection, exploitation, analysis, and production workflow processes, CGS, DCGS, GI&S, and DOT is a plus.
