Job Overview:

Mission Essential is in search of skilled Maritime Imagery Analysts to contribute to a vital mission within the NMIC, supporting the GEOINT PED Watch for various operational roles. This position entails shift work, including rotating schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct imagery analysis and provide exploitation support focused on maritime and operational challenges. The Maritime Imagery Analyst will generate GEOINT-based exploitation reports in multiple formats, adhering to established GEOINT PED watch standard operating procedures.
  • Engage in the evaluation and analysis of new algorithm outputs and capabilities, including data labeling for maritime GEOINT objects.
  • Formulate and sustain desktop procedures, methodologies, and techniques pertinent to ONI, Navy, and maritime operations.
  • Facilitate training for new or rotating personnel who may support the overall GEOINT PED Watch, utilizing hands-on instruction, analyst exchanges, or supplementary materials.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in exploiting NTM and/or airborne intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance imagery, specifically Full Motion Video (FMV).
  • At least 1 year of experience in crafting technical documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Formal military imagery analysis training or an equivalent civilian remote sensing certification.
  • Familiarity with NTM GEOINT tasking and collection requirements mechanisms and tools.
  • Proficiency in using three or more of the following imagery and GIS systems: Socet GXP, RemoteView Pro, iSPY, Advanced Motion Platform (AMP), Orchestration Services, National Consolidated Library (NCL), or Imagery Exploitation Capability (IEC).

Desired Qualifications:

  • NSG GPC-F certification is preferred but not mandatory; training materials will be provided.
  • Knowledge in areas such as UAS, tactical GEOINT collection, exploitation, analysis, and production workflow processes is advantageous.
