**Leadership Opportunity in Emergency Medicine**
US Acute Care Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medicine Medical Director to oversee the operations of the Emergency Department at UM Bowie Health Center and UM Laurel Medical Center in Maryland. As a leader in our organization, you will collaborate with hospital and nursing leadership to support your physician staff and drive the growth of our emergency medicine services.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Oversee the operations of the ED in collaboration with nursing leadership and hospital administration
- Supervise the EM staff, per the bylaws, policies and procedures of the institution
- Represent the ED in the community and within the hospital medical staff
- Position will oversee both UM Bowie and UM Laurel Medical Centers
**About the Facilities:**
UM Bowie Health Center is a free-standing emergency department with:
- 23,000 ED Volume
- Imaging and diagnostic services (CT, diagnostic X-ray)
- Larkin Chase Care and Rehabilitation Center
- Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
UM Laurel Medical Center is a brand-new facility offering:
- 19,000 ED Volume
- 20 ED Bays
- OBS Beds: 10
- 24-hour dedicated CT in the ED
- 24-hour MRI capabilities
- Two operating rooms with surgical services
- Two procedure rooms
- Outpatient Behavioral Health services
- Helipad
- Starbucks on-site
**Compensation:**
- Excellent compensation with an estimated employed W-2 base pay range of $160/hour to $250/hour
- PLUS comprehensive USACS benefits, a 10% company-funded 401k and USACS ownership stock
- Additional Director Stipend
