Role Overview:
The Finance Reporting Support Manager plays a pivotal role in the implementation of NBCUniversal's SAP S/4 HANA initiative, known as 'Project Keystone.' This position collaborates with teams across the global Finance and Technology sectors, contributing significantly to our digital transformation journey from design through to deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for next-generation ERP Finance Solutions, focusing on data design and migration.
- Engage with various workstreams, including data, IT, and RTR, to analyze reporting processes and translate requirements into SAP S/4 solutions.
- Effectively communicate finance functional requirements to technical teams and oversee tasks throughout the development process.
- Participate in workshops aimed at aligning reporting standards with future state solutions.
- Identify and address reporting gaps during the FIT/GAP analysis phase.
- Facilitate stakeholder consensus to ensure clarity and agreement on proposed solutions.
- Act as a change agent throughout the SAP S/4 transformation process.
- Assess third-party solutions as alternatives to custom developments suggested by SAP.
- Support team leads in managing complex reporting tasks and meeting critical deadlines.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in SAP reporting.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the media industry is preferred.
- Experience working within an SAP ecosystem is advantageous.
- Familiarity with SAP's reporting capabilities and corporate reporting standards.
- Ability to bridge finance functional and SAP technical requirements effectively.
- Comfortable navigating core S/4 Tables and BW for reporting purposes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage ambiguity.
Desired Characteristics:
- Experience in the media industry is preferred but not mandatory.
Work Environment:
This position is designated as hybrid, requiring in-office contributions a minimum of three days per week.
