Staff Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Scientist to join our team at Performance Environmental Services, Inc. As a Staff Scientist, you will be involved in various consulting and testing projects focusing on industrial hygiene, indoor air quality, mold, asbestos, and lead.

• Conduct industrial hygiene assessments for chemicals and noise exposure, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations.
• Deliver site-specific training according to federal, state, and local regulations, and develop written programs.
• Conduct indoor air quality evaluations for various types of buildings, and hold certifications like NIOSH 582, Asbestos Inspector, Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor, Certified Microbial Consultant, or other relevant credentials.
• Travel occasionally for project assignments, including out-of-state locations, with travel expenses covered by the company.

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in industrial hygiene, indoor air quality, mold, asbestos, and lead consulting/testing.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to handle tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with individuals at all organizational levels, including employees, contractors, and clients.
