Job Title: Disaster Restoration Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Disaster Restoration Specialist to join our team at National Disaster Solutions Inc. As a Disaster Restoration Specialist, you will be responsible for restoring properties to their pre-damage condition after disasters such as fires, floods, and storms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare work areas and rooms for restoration projects, including setting up staging areas and equipment.
  • Maintain efficient production processes by communicating effectively with management and fellow technicians.
  • Perform restoration tasks and production processes as directed.
  • Ensure end-of-day and end-of-job cleanup, leaving the worksite clean and organized.
  • Assess property damaged by fire, water, mold, and weather disasters.
  • Clean and store salvageable belongings and property.
  • Remove and replace damaged drywall, plumbing, and related materials.
  • Perform water mitigation and extraction services.
  • Decontaminate and deodorize indoor space.
  • Repair and restore the structure.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, and in good physical fitness and stamina for cleanup.
  • Comfortable with using power and hand tools.
  • Must have great communication, listening, and teamwork skills.
  • Comfortable with fieldwork and working in all types of weather and environments.
