Position Overview

At SkySlope, we are seeking an enthusiastic Agile Project Facilitator who is dedicated to technology and agile methodologies. In this role, you will oversee the agile practices, guiding teams through successful sprint cycles. Collaboration with product managers and leadership will be essential to foster communication within and beyond the teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Agile advocate, assisting one or more teams in embracing agile principles. Ensure that scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, release planning, and retrospectives are conducted effectively.
  • Monitor team dynamics and guide workload commitments, promoting shared responsibility for task completion and sprint objectives.
  • Eliminate uncertainties by liaising with external teams or stakeholders to ensure timely sprint progress while protecting the team from outside disruptions that could hinder sprint success. Escalate any unresolved issues that the team cannot address.
  • Maintain accuracy and completeness in project tracking tools, providing regular updates on project status to senior management as necessary.

  • 1-3 years of experience leading multiple development teams using agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or Scrumban. Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) is required.
  • Experience as a Scrum Master in software development, with a solid understanding of product development and launch processes.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed, with a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Organized and efficient in planning and coordinating projects and sprints.
  • Ability to lead agile practices for both the immediate team and extended stakeholders, emphasizing best practices and principles.
  • Mentor teams and external participants on agile methodologies, fostering strong working relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with various agile and software development tools (e.g., JIRA). Proven track record of leading agile projects in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Capability to influence and guide senior leadership in advancing the agile mindset and practices.

Compensation: $88,000 - $120,000 annually
