The Technology Team is responsible for developing and maintaining the systems and applications that connect our customers, warehouses, customer service, payment providers, and more. We strive to create efficient systems that support our mission of making dogs happy. Our collaborative approach encourages open communication and scientific methods, allowing us to tackle challenges effectively. Our teams consist of engineers, product designers, data analysts, QA specialists, and product managers, all working together to achieve our goals.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We seek engineers who take ownership of feature design and implementation while enhancing our existing codebase. Ideal candidates are passionate about optimizing large-scale operations and crafting user-friendly interfaces. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leadership:
    • Inspire collaboration and innovation within the team, fostering an environment where everyone can excel.
    • Guide critical developments within NetSuite, providing mentorship to fellow developers.
  • Product Focus:
    • Engage in the ideation and planning of features to ensure successful project execution.
    • Identify and address gaps in processes with strategic developments.
    • Support existing and upcoming software integrations with NetSuite, including FP&A tools and PLM systems.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Develop robust Suite Scripts and evaluate existing scripts for optimization.
    • Assist in creating Test-Driven Development (TDD) for key projects.
    • Support documentation efforts for existing script deployments.
  • Feature Delivery:
    • Produce well-structured, testable, and reliable code that contributes to our mission of canine happiness.
  • Code Quality:
    • Ensure high system responsiveness by maintaining code quality, stability, and scalability.
    • Collaborate with functional leads to ensure compliance in code deployment.
  • Must Love Dogs

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with NetSuite, focusing on Suite Scripting and script deployments, including map-reduce scripts and advanced saved searches.
  • Experience with API/SOAP/Web Services integrations.
  • Proven track record of delivering and maintaining production software in a collaborative environment.
  • Familiarity with dev-ops practices and secure code deployment.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences through your coding practices.
  • Ability to navigate and enhance existing codebases.
  • Value time management and seek solutions to optimize efficiency.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Experience & Leadership: A thoughtful engineer with experience in facilitating team collaboration.
  • Qualifications:
    • 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience.
    • 1+ year in a lead developer role, emphasizing time management and task delegation.
