Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with cross-disciplinary teams to uphold quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Convert business requirements into comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Perform exploratory and manual testing to ensure product integrity.
  • Develop and manage test data and testing scripts.
  • Detect and document defects for the development teams.
  • Collaborate with Automation Engineers to design and execute test suites.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in testing web-based applications.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Database/ETL Processes and Data Warehouse Testing.
  • In-depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficient in SQL scripting and database testing techniques.
  • Familiarity with batch processing tools and file transfer protocols.
  • Knowledge of Cloud technologies and testing tools is advantageous.
  • Strong collaborative skills and effective communication abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake querying.
  • Capability to conduct load testing and utilize automation frameworks.
  • Relevant certifications in software testing.
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
