Job Title: Quality Assurance ETL Tester

The Quality Assurance ETL Tester position will conduct software testing and planning, analyzing results to ensure compliance with specifications and Information Services (IS) standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate functionality, performance, and usability.
  • Conduct manual testing of all systems to identify defects and ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Document and track defects using issue tracking systems and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in requirements analysis and review meetings to ensure testability and identify potential areas of improvement.
  • Perform regression testing to validate changes and ensure that existing functionality remains unaffected.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing priorities, timelines, and objectives.
  • Provide feedback on product usability, design, and user experience based on testing observations and findings.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA Analyst or similar role, with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and practices.
  • Proven work experience in testing ETL databases.
  • Solid knowledge of manual testing techniques and tools, as well as experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, ICEDQ).
  • Extensive knowledge of SQL, document database, and scripting.
  • Experience with MDM / SAS / API Testing.
  • Experience with AWS, Python/PySpark.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and articulate defects and inconsistencies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines.
