Position Overview

We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a travel capacity. This role involves providing care to patients in various units, including Adult and NICU settings.

Certification Requirements
  • Mandatory Certifications: BLS, NRP, RRT & VA License
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory therapy services across all units, including a 6-bed ILN/NICU.
  • Deliver care to both adult and neonatal patients.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year as an RRT; CRT with over 10 years of experience is acceptable.
  • First-time travelers: Welcome to apply.
  • Special Skills: Must possess experience in adult and NICU care.
  • Essential Respiratory Skills: Airway management, ventilator management, medication administration, ABGs, oxygen therapy, suctioning, pulmonary hygiene, BiPAP, CPAP, nebulizers, and high-risk deliveries.
Work Environment
  • Required Experience: Community hospital, Emergency Room, Adult ICU & NICU.
  • Equipment Familiarity: Experience with Puritan Bennett systems is preferred.
Schedule Information
  • Weekend Work: Not required.
  • On-call Duties: Not required.
  • Floating Requirements: May need to float to adult units as necessary.
  • Block Scheduling: Considered at the discretion of management.
  • Local Candidates: Accepted.
  • Pending Licenses: Accepted.
  • RTO Restrictions: Managed at the discretion of management.
Unit Specific Information

The role requires flexibility to float to all units, ensuring comprehensive patient care across the Stafford Campus.
