The ideal candidate will have at least two years of pediatric or family practice outpatient experience and be able to work effectively with patients aged 0-18.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and evaluations of pediatric patients
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to inform treatment plans
- Prescribe medication and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on health and wellness topics
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records
- Participate in medical staff meetings and continuing education opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program
- At least two years of pediatric or family medicine experience in an outpatient setting
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Nevada
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
