We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at Amarsi Med PLLC. In this role, you will be working in a small medical practice focused on Pediatric healthcare, providing excellent patient care and customer service.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be hardworking, eager to learn, and responsible for patient care and administrative tasks as needed. You should be able to interact well with patients, physicians, and support staff, perform various administrative tasks related to the job, and possess a positive attitude and good work ethic.

You will be responsible for reviewing new, ongoing, and past medical situations to determine next steps, answering and screening phone calls in a cordial and efficient manner, assisting with scheduling appointments, check-ins, and check-outs, reading patient charts and ascertaining information needed for appointments, and assisting with patient intake and check-in process.

This is a full-time position with an estimated salary range of $16.00 per hour, paid holidays, vacation time, 401K, and other benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Review new, ongoing, and past medical situations to determine next steps.
  • Answer and screen phone calls in a cordial and efficient manner.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, check-ins, and check-outs.
  • Read patient charts and ascertain information needed for appointments.
  • Assist with patient intake and check-in process.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have experience working with EMR systems and vital signs, and proficiency in Spanish is a plus. A Certified Medical Assistant certification is also required.
