About the Role

Aldrich CPAs and Advisors is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing audits, reviews, and compilations from planning to completion. This role requires a strong desire to work independently and as part of a team, with a significant amount of client interaction and new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage financial services engagements and delegate to staff as necessary
  • Act as a resource for staff and seniors on technical issues and questions
  • Manage service responsibility for clients
  • Supervise staff, provide training, coaching, and prepare performance reviews
  • Communicate and negotiate fees with clients, and prepare invoices
  • Maintain knowledge of general economic and political trends and legislation affecting the business climate
  • Manage staff assigned to engagements and review workpaper files
  • Develop new business opportunities through networking and professional organizations
  • Serve as a catalyst for innovation by identifying and exploring emerging issues
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Public Accounting in a financial services role
  • Solid understanding of audit and attest services with knowledge of FASB regulations and GAAP
  • Bachelor's degree and successful completion of the CPA exam or a CPA license
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research abilities
  • Solid team player and confident leader with strong ethics
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and common accounting software
