  • Adjust scan parameters to meet the needs of patients with varying body types and medical conditions.
  • Prioritize patient safety and well-being by verifying patient identification before exams.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to manage patient flow and medical data.
  • Ensure quality care by adhering to ACR guidelines and using contrast media effectively.
  • Operate specialized equipment, including power injectors and vital sign monitors.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma and completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • ARRT certification in MRI; BLS and IV certification preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of MRI procedures, equipment, anatomy, physiology, and patient care.
  • Minimum 1-year MRI experience.

Working Conditions:

Exposure to various body fluids and magnetic fields.

Physical Demands:

Lifts, transfers, and positions patients and equipment weighing over 50 pounds on a regular basis.
