Job Summary

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to provide high-quality services for K-12 students in a school setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering tailored educational programs to meet the unique needs of students with special requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support students' academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide direct and indirect services to students, including instruction, assessment, and behavioral support.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in special education and adapt your approach to meet the evolving needs of students.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to ensure a collaborative and supportive approach to education.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in special education, preferably in a school setting.
  • Valid teaching license or certification in special education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
