Removables Finishing Technician

We are seeking an experienced Removables Finishing Technician to join our team at Dandy, a rapidly growing venture-backed company transforming the dental industry. As a key member of our state-of-the-art and digital-only facility, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment and hand tools to ensure high-quality fabrication of night guards and dentures. If you're passionate about disrupting the status quo and contributing to building a "Gold Standard Removables Department," this is the ideal opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities- Operate multiple pieces of equipment and hand tools to fabricate and/or modify night guards and dentures in a fast-paced environment.
- Drive improvements by identifying opportunities to enhance workflow, equipment, and capacity.
- Problem-solve and troubleshoot process, equipment, and technology issues.
- Adhere to strict manufacturing quality standards and lead by example.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and address bottlenecks, and work with technical experts to implement state-of-the-art research and development processes.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in the dental industry, specifically in removables.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
- Robust vision capabilities and attention to detail.
- Passion for tackling problems and breaking them down into manageable steps.
- High level of comfort with digital tools and technology.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Team player attitude and willingness to help others.
- Ability to maintain a clean work area and keep equipment, tools, and supplies clean.
- Natural curiosity and ability to learn new concepts, tools, and workflows quickly.
- Strong self-motivation, self-direction, and ability to prioritize.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Specific removables experience, finishing night guards or dentures.
- Outstanding professional references to share.
- Relentlessly positive attitude, strong sense of humor, and ability to have fun at work.
