Job Summary:
The Center for Living and Rehabilitation is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our nursing department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading a team of nursing professionals, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans to ensure the needs of our residents are met.
- Supervise and coordinate nursing personnel in providing direct resident care, adhering to State and Federal regulations.
- Formulate individualized nursing care plans utilizing the nursing process.
- Assess each resident daily and implement changes in the course of action as needed.
- Assist the physician on rounds and ensure that pertinent information is communicated to and from him/her and orders are taken correctly.
- Participate in the training and supervision of nursing personnel.
- Utilize effectively the general principles of leadership and supervision.
- Manage conflict through effective problem-solving and communication skills.
- Act calmly and efficiently in handling emergency situations.
- Prepare daily assignment of duties, treatments, and miscellaneous tasks.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
