Behavioral Health Nurse Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide exceptional care to senior patients navigating behavioral health challenges in our Senior Behavioral Health Unit. This position offers the chance to work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, delivering specialized care to senior patients.
Our ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of patient care experience in a healthcare facility and be licensed as a Practical Nurse (LPN) by the State of Wisconsin. AHA Healthcare Provider certification is also required.
- Salary: $68,000 - $85,000 per year
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Senior Behavioral Health Unit.
- Administer medications and treatments according to care plans and physician orders.
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement personalized care plans.
- Support patients and their families with empathy and education regarding care and treatment.
