The Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Virginia, is seeking a talented Physician Scientist to join our team. As an Open Rank faculty member, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our clinical research efforts and strengthen our translational research opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 25-30% clinical effort and 70-75% research effort
- Enroll patients into clinical trials and participate in multidisciplinary team care and clinical research within the Cancer Center
- Teach fellows, residents, and medical students as part of our educational mission
Candidates must have a MD or equivalent and be board-certified in Internal Medicine by appointment start date. Board-eligibility or Board-certification in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology is required.
