Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Provide a supportive environment for employees to achieve their maximum potential and develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Manpower Planning: Plan and schedule manpower, materials, product, and machines to optimize departmental policies and procedures, ensuring fairness and equity in maintaining established standards for safety, quality, and overall company personnel satisfaction.
  • Employee Performance Management: Manage employee performance, providing positive and/or corrective feedback to promote growth and development.
  • Communication and Employee Involvement: Promote department and company goodwill through proactive employee communication and employee involvement, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Quality Improvement and Cost Reduction: Investigate areas of quality improvement, cost reduction, method improvement, yield control, and equipment maintenance, providing suggestions to improve overall performance.
  • Safety Promotion: Promote safety throughout the area where the crew is working, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 or more years of previous supervisory experience in the poultry or food industry.
  • Leadership Skills: Previous leadership skills with 20 or more employees, with the ability to make independent decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication both orally and in writing, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED; College Degree in a related field preferred.
