Position Summary

PRN

Are you eager to be part of a surgical team dedicated to providing second chances to patients? The care for Kidney, Pancreas, and Liver Transplant patients is crucial. In this role, you will manage drains, chest tubes, surgical wounds, tracheotomies, administer blood, IV antibiotics, Insulin, Heparin, and more.

Unit Details:
- Number of beds: 48
- Patient Population/Typical Diagnosis: Pre/post-transplant care for patients with End Stage Kidney, Pancreas, and Liver Disease
- Targeted Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:3-4
- Recognized with the Gold Beacon award, this unit exemplifies an advanced interdisciplinary team and offers a significant role in patient care.

Minimum Qualifications

- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- A minimum of 12 months of recent nursing experience within the last five years or completion of a re-entry nursing program
- Must possess a valid, active, unencumbered Nursing license or a temporary permit approved by the appropriate Licensing Board
- BLS certification is required; ACLS may be necessary in specific departments.
