About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW to join our team at Senior Care Therapy. As a Geriatric Population Specialist, you will be responsible for providing in-person psychotherapy services to seniors in various care settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans for seniors.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders.
  • Conduct initial assessments and follow-up sessions to monitor patient progress.
  • Document patient interactions and treatment plans in our electronic medical record system.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work (MSW or DSW) from an accredited program.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in good standing with the state licensing board.
  • Experience working with geriatric populations, preferably in skilled nursing, hospital, hospice, or home care settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with seniors, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
