Role Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled Truck Driver to fulfill essential responsibilities within our logistics team. This role involves delivering and distributing construction materials to designated clients while ensuring the safe loading, handling, and transportation of heavy cargo.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport building products to assigned locations while adhering to commercial driving regulations.
  • Safely maneuver the vehicle in challenging situations and complete necessary documentation.
  • Address customer inquiries or concerns by communicating with the supervisor.
  • Conduct inspections of the vehicle for any defects before and after trips, submitting reports on truck condition.
  • Maintain the vehicle in a safe operating state, including regular servicing with fuel, oil, and water.
  • Keep accurate logs and records in compliance with D.O.T. regulations.
  • Assist in loading and unloading materials as required.
  • Secure cargo for safe transit and maintain cleanliness in the vehicle and work area.
  • Exhibit a strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements: High School Diploma or GED, or two years of equivalent work experience. A valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) is required, along with the ability to operate transportation equipment safely. A minimum of two years of truck driving experience is necessary, with a working knowledge of DOT regulations.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with flatbed trucks is preferred. Familiarity with building materials and forklift operation is advantageous.
