School Transportation Operator

Compensation:
$14.42 per hour

Weekly Hours:

  • 20-29 Flexible hours
  • Additional hours available through trips and charters
  • Charters compensated at $25 per hour
2 hour route guarantee for both morning and evening shifts.

We are currently offering training for bus operators at our facilities. No CDL? No issue. We assist suitable candidates in obtaining a CDL with P&S endorsements. Paid training is provided.

POSITION SUMMARY:

SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION OPERATOR

  • Safely transport students from their residences to educational institutions and back
  • Ensure the safety of all passengers during transit
  • Maintain order and discipline on the bus
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections before and after each route
  • Report any necessary repairs to maintenance personnel
  • Prepare and submit reports detailing mileage for routes completed
  • Keep the bus clean and in good mechanical condition at all times
  • Adhere to all traffic regulations
  • Participate in monthly safety meetings
Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must successfully pass a physical examination and background check
  • Must have an acceptable driving record
  • Must pass a drug screening
