Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Plasma Center Technician to join our team. As a Plasma Center Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors, while also contributing to the production of life-saving therapies.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to our donors, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the donation process.
- Screen donors for eligibility, take and record vital signs, and prepare donor charts.
- Operate state-of-the-art plasmapheresis machines, ensuring the safe and efficient collection of plasma.
- Work collaboratively with our team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to center processes.
- Support our donors by working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs.
- Competitive hourly wage: $16.00.
