High School Teacher Fellow

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a High School Fellow Teacher at St. Augustine Preparatory Academy.
About the RoleThe High School Fellow Teacher will work closely with the Instructional Coach to develop, plan, and prepare lessons alongside lead teachers. This role is designed to provide the Fellow with opportunities to transition to a lead teacher position within two years.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute engaging and academically rigorous lessons for assigned school levels.
- Integrate Biblical truth with lessons and serve as a cultural and spiritual model for students.
- Meet with an instructional coach bi-weekly to implement feedback and improve practice.
- Implement curriculum and activities to ensure students meet academic benchmarks and grade-level standards.
- Use academic data to modify instruction and meet student needs.
- Serve as a school-level sub and provide coverage for daily absences and extended absences.
- Support intervention/acceleration periods and work with instructional aides, lead teachers, and parent/community volunteers.
- Attend professional development sessions and staff meetings.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Participating member in a local church.
- Effective oral and written communication skills; bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Skilled in strategic planning, project management, and organization development.
- Team player committed to the St. Augustine Preparatory mission and model.
- High integrity and ability to live the values, beliefs, and culture of St. Augustine Prep.
