Job SummaryUnder the general direction of the director and manager, the RN provides patient care for patients pre, post, and sometimes interim procedures. Key responsibilities include:
- Administering medications, including moderate sedation
- Assessing patient needs and coordinating care
- Educating patients and families post-procedure
- Addressing psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the peri-procedural environment
- Participating in departmental performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Graduation from a school of nursing
- Minimum of one year of experience in ICU, ER, PCU, or telemetry
