White Barn Inn, a renowned New England landmark, is seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join its culinary team. As a key player in the kitchen brigade, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise and contribute to an unforgettable dining experience.

• Work in various kitchen positions, including pantry and banquet, as needed, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
• Assist the chef in special events and functions, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
• Develop daily features and special menus in collaboration with the chef, ensuring a cohesive and engaging culinary experience.
• Manage food requisitions and ordering, working closely with the chef to maintain budgetary control.
• Lead service in the absence of the chef, demonstrating leadership skills and a commitment to excellence.

• Formal training or education in culinary arts, with a focus on pastry and baking techniques.
• One year of experience as a Cook II or previous Cook I experience.
• Proficiency in various baking methods, including dough preparation, pastry shaping, and decorating techniques.
• Strong focus on precision and detail to ensure consistency and high-quality presentation of pastries and desserts.
