Key Responsibilities
  • Practice under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, providing safe and cost-effective care to patients according to established nursing standards and practices.
  • Participate in the provision of patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development, staying current with best practices and evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • A current California RN license is required.
  • A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) certification is also required.
  • A Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing is also required.
  • Graduated from an accredited nursing program unless otherwise approved by the Nursing Executive Council (NEC).
