As a Pharmacy Technician at Rite Aid of Pennsylvania Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacies. Your primary responsibility will be to assist licensed pharmacists in dispensing medications, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:- Enter prescription information into the computer system, including patient searches, prescriber searches, and insurance billing.
- Retrieve medication from inventory and prepare prescription labels.
- Assist with maintaining the pharmacy department, including cleaning and organizing the workspace.
- Participate in inventory management processes, including order review and restocking shelves.
- Administer Rite Aid programs, such as FlavoRx and Living More.
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
