The Role
As a Project Engineer, you will engage in diverse projects aimed at implementing and enhancing DGM's control systems while providing continuous customer support to guarantee dependable performance and exceptional customer satisfaction. Your contributions will be pivotal in ensuring project delivery excellence for utility clients within the energy generation, transmission, and distribution sectors.

Your Impact

  • Design, plan, integrate, test, and commission hardware and software specifications on client systems.
  • Deliver system and application architecture.
  • Conduct hardware, software, and system installation, integration, and testing for various projects.
  • Tailor system, hardware, and network configurations to meet client specifications.
  • Offer customer support and assistance in accordance with contract maintenance and warranty agreements.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials and project documentation as necessary.
What You'll Need
  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of pertinent experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: power systems, electric utility operations/dispatch, real-time control systems, client/server applications, network communications, UNIX/Linux/Windows operating systems, and proficiency in software programming and scripting (Python, C/C++).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Mongo, Cassandra) and data formats such as JSON and XML.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, along with strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership abilities, as well as analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
