Experienced Finish Carpenter

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Carpenter to join our team at Allay Restoration Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting our office and performing various tasks related to Finish Carpentry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hanging and taping drywall, as well as texture blending and matching.
• Basic framing repairs, including subfloor and subdeck repairs, and underlay installation.
• Painting walls, trim, and other items requiring paint matching or change of color.
• Installation of cabinetry, casing, crown molding, baseboard, flooring, vinyl sheeting, and insulation.
• Meet time requirements for tasks as needed.
• Clearly communicate with team members and clients.
• Occasional demolition work will be required to perform necessary repairs.

Requirements:

• Understanding of all phases of construction.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and a clear motor vehicle record.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in construction trades.
• Works well without oversight.
• Friendly, honest, professional, and outgoing.
• Enjoys working with clients to restore their homes or businesses.
• Must be a team player and work nicely with others.
