Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Water Resources Field Maintenance Specialist I/II to join our team at Government Jobs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing specialized work involving the installation, maintenance, and repair of water resources systems. This is a trainee classification, and the incumbent will learn to perform a variety of tasks, including operating and maintaining equipment, inspecting and testing systems, and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain equipment used in water resources systems
• Inspect and test systems to ensure they are functioning properly
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment
• Assist in the installation of new water resources systems
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure the successful completion of projects
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of experience in a related field
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
