Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive activity program that aligns with the 8 Dimensions of Healthy Living
  • Plan and coordinate in-house events, classes, and excursions, ensuring seamless execution and resident satisfaction
  • Supervise and support Activity Assistants, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Respond to resident needs and concerns, providing timely and empathetic support
  • Manage activity sign-ups, reservations, and records, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Attend mandatory training and classes, staying up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations
  • Complete departmental tasks, including purchase orders, timecards, and payroll duties
  • Disseminate activity schedules and information to residents, ensuring they are informed and engaged
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to resident rights, ensuring a safe and respectful environment
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience in senior activity programming and management
  • Experience with activity scheduling, organization, and program development
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft programs, including Excel, Outlook, Publisher, and Word
  • Knowledge of administrative practices, procedures, and guidelines
  • Ability to maintain a calm and composed demeanor in emergency situations
