Salary Range

$34,000 - $37,000 annually (based on experience)

About the Job

We are seeking a qualified Resource Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our Resource Center, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assessing client needs, and connecting them with relevant resources and services. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human services or related field preferred
  • High School Diploma/GED required with 1 year of experience and knowledge of the aging and disabilities populations and programs
  • Customer Service expertise including exceptional listening skills
  • Familiarity with community resources and services for seniors is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with the Medicaid waiver is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills related to databases, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and the Internet
  • Demonstrated track record of excellent attendance and commitment to a team-oriented work environment
