Quality Assurance Manager

Our company, a trusted leader in food manufacturing since 1946, is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. As a family-owned business, we are committed to delivering exceptional service, fast response times, and high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage daily SSOP, GMP, CCP, and PC checks to ensure all beverage production processes meet established quality standards.
- Conduct and supervise testing of product samples, including pH, brix, color, and organoleptic evaluations, and release batches based on results.
- Monitor equipment calibration and maintain lab operations according to scheduled shifts.
- Verify production and packaging activity, including lot numbers, labeling, net weight, and other product specifications, ensuring full compliance and traceability.
- Lead investigations into quality issues, manage hold procedures, and coordinate corrective actions in collaboration with R&D and production teams.
- Supervise and train QC associates, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols.
- Conduct internal audits, manage product specifications, and coordinate rework operations as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field preferred; minimum 5 years of QC experience in the food/beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, SSOP, and GMP practices, with hands-on experience in beverage production.
- Proven leadership and communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) is an advantage.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management software.
