Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Assisting with daily routines, including cleaning, cooking, feeding, and maintaining personal hygiene.
- Monitoring health and medical needs, reporting any concerns immediately.
- Supporting learning and development of independent and community-based skills.
- Participating in community activities, social events, and recreational pursuits.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- The ability to establish a supportive relationship with individuals receiving services.
- The ability to exercise good judgment in crisis situations.
