Licensed Practical Nurse

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing direct patient care and assisting in the overall management and coordination of resident care. Under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, the LPN ensures the well-being and comfort of residents, administering medications, monitoring residents, and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs).
Responsibilities- Administer medications and monitor residents
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Provide direct patient care and assist in the overall management and coordination of resident care
- Work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians
- Ensure the well-being and comfort of residents
- Assist with medical procedures and treatments
- Document patient information and maintain accurate records
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current knowledge and skills
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment
- Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence
- Perform other duties as assigned
- A High School Diploma or equivalent required
- A valid and active license in good standing as an LPN in the state of Arkansas
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Ability to follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
