Senior Behavior Therapist Role

The Senior Behavior Therapist is a vital member of the Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC) team, playing a crucial role in providing ABA intervention services for individuals on the autism spectrum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize high performance standards, ensuring teams are successful and client goals are met.
  • Collaborate with peers to provide guidance, leadership, and implement treatment plans.
  • Develop a compassionate approach to care, adapting to changes to meet client needs.
  • Provide direction and feedback to the client's team, including behavior therapists, senior-level clinicians, and other critical members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, special education, sociology, or a related field.
  • RBT Certified.
  • Working toward a Master's degree and BCBA certification preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of employment in a clinical environment, including recent work with individuals with autism using PRT, DTT, PECS, and other ABA methods.
