Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per yearAbout the Role

This position will support clients in the Methacton school district as a skilled Autism Intervention Specialist. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide individualized therapy services in a 1:1 teaching format to children with autism in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the implementation of positive behavior support plans, IEP, and/or 504 plans utilizing ABA principles in the school setting.
  • Provide direct 1:1 and/or small group therapy to identified student(s) to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction interventions as directed by the BCBA.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor or Associate Degree in behavioral health, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Special Education, or related field, preferred.
  • Valid driver license and ability to travel to various schools within assigned region.
  • Ability to acquire RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification within 45 days of hire date, with training provided by Surpass Behavioral Health.
  • Prior professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in a multi-disciplinary team setting is a plus.
