We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Systems Engineer to join our team at Meta Platforms, Inc. in Redmond, Washington.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing complex electrical systems, leading electrical architectures definition, and providing technical leadership to a larger development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop complex electrical systems, including schematics, board layout, and cross-functional design reviews.
- Lead electrical architectures definition and provide technical leadership to a larger development team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop systems and manage trade-offs across electronics, mechanics, optics, sensors, haptics, firmware, and software.
- Conduct feasibility studies and analysis to evaluate new technologies and components.
- Propose innovative solutions to enhance product performance and features.
- Manage bring up and debug, support manufacturing and assembly build.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in electrical design and engineering, including schematic and board design using Cadence OrCAD, Altium, or equivalent.
- Experience working with digital signal processing, real-time image processing, display engineering, camera modules, mobile SoC and PMIC, or Battery Management System.
- Leading technical teams, cross-functional groups, and vendors against project plans.
- Systems architecture of electronic products.
