Job Title: Clinical Informaticist, RN

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Informaticist, RN to join our team at Porter Medical Center. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying opportunities for optimum utilization of clinical information system workflow for clinical processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with nursing, other clinical disciplines, and Information Services to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of clinical technologies on patient care.
  • Identify optimization opportunities and work with senior clinical and medical group leaders to prioritize and plan Epic Optimization work.
  • Work effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other clinic staff during Epic Optimization planning, implementation, and follow-up.
  • Function as a liaison between nursing and Information Services to facilitate a common understanding of information system needs, end-user processes, interoperability, and alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of ambulatory and/or hospital clinical processes or patient access and revenue cycle management.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior clinical and medical group leaders to prioritize and plan Epic Optimization work.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
