About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Imaging Technologist to join our team at the University of California, Irvine. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing complex Computed Tomography (CT) imaging procedures and ensuring the technical competence of our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT imaging procedures with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Assist in the development and implementation of clinical imaging protocols
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert for the CT department
  • Collaborate with other modalities and staff to ensure a seamless and efficient workflow
  • Maintain accurate records of procedures performed and coordinate exams with other services
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years recent CT experience in an Adult Acute Care Facility
  • ARRT-CT certification
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to maintain flexibility and work effectively in a constantly changing environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of applicable regulatory requirements
  • CRT license/certification
  • Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with patients and families
