About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Manager to join our team at SHP Management Corp.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall facilities maintenance, operations, and security of our properties. This includes supervising maintenance technicians, cleaners, and porters, as well as managing inventory, supplies, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train maintenance staff to ensure high-quality workmanship and efficient service delivery;
  • Maintain accurate records of work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules;
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventive maintenance programs;
  • Manage emergency situations and respond to urgent maintenance requests;
  • Collaborate with site managers to plan and coordinate maintenance activities;
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize maintenance budgets;
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations;
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with tenants, visitors, and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in facilities management or a related field;
  • Demonstrated expertise in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, and other areas of facilities maintenance;
  • Proven track record of successful team leadership and staff development;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders;
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various sites as required;
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, stand, walk, sit, handle, finger, reach, climb, crawl, squat, kneel, and bend, as per the physical demands listed below.

Physical Demands:

This role requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, crawling, squatting, reaching, and handling. The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 100 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks. The work environment is typically indoors, with occasional outdoor duties in varying weather conditions.

Compensation:

Our salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement savings plans.
