Service Writer

At ASCO Equipment, we're committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers. As a Service Writer & Field Dispatcher, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive the best possible experience.

• Coordinate and schedule preventative and other maintenance needs with customers and service technicians.
• Manage work orders, including opening, closing, posting time, entering notes, and monitoring progress.
• Prepare accurate estimates for costs of repairs and present to customers.
• Monitor and manage accounts receivables.
• Communicate effectively with customers, technicians, and service managers to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Provide status updates on work orders, troubleshooting, technician progress, and general questions.
• Monitor phones for field technician and customer calls.
• Perform various administrative duties to support the service team.

• 2+ years of experience as a heavy equipment service technician or service writer.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership environment.
• Detail-oriented, time management, and teamwork skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with G-Suite and other service programs.
• A personal dedication to work safety and accountability.
